ABSOLUT 3D

I created these ABSOLUT bottles back in 2013, for a 3D visualization pitch for an ad agency.

The brief was to try and re-create 3D visuals of the beautiful bottles originally designed and photographed by
the swedish photographer and director Johan Renck.

These images were never used commercially — they were only made for an ad agency working with ABSOLUT at that time, just to show what I could do.

I received blueprint of the bottles from the agency, including several reference photos. I 3D modeled the bottles in Cinema 4D and really tried to match the lighting and mood from the original photos.

After rendering the different bottle setups, then I retouched and color graded the images for the final look.

I remember getting the photographed artwork on the inside of the bottles to render accurately was really.. tricky.

There were lots of trial and error needed to match the original look.
